Urban Movers provides affordable moving services to fit your specific needs. Being affordable is a great thing but we also want our clients to know that our quality of service is even better than our affordability. We provide local services for Sarasota, Venice, Bradenton and St. Pete/Tampa. We are well-trained caring moving professionals that have over 10 years of experience moving furniture. We are licensed and insured. We can move one piece of furniture or move your entire home. Reputation is everything and we want to make sure that our clients know that we are economical, efficient and professional.
All services include:
- Strong and knowledgeable movers
- Furniture blankets to protect your furniture during transport
- Tools to disassemble and reassemble furniture items if needed
- Hand trucks and dollies to move boxes and appliances
- Any other materials it will take for us to move your items safely and efficiently
We are here to answer your moving questions, listen to your concerns and help make your next move a positive experience. We have 6 different types of affordable services. They are as follows :
1. Two-Man Pick-up/Drop-off: (Furniture Only)
Advantage: Your situation does not require a full service move but our basic service is affordable and fits well with your moving needs.
Situation:
You need us to come move the furniture while you take care of the rest.
Includes:
Two movers and a truck.
Rates:
$60.00 per hour (Monday thru Wednesday)
$65.00 per hour (Thursday thru Sunday)
2. Economy Service:
Advantage:
You still do not need a "Full Service" move but you do need us to move your furniture and you also have some boxes, bins and/or tubs that need to to be moved as well.
Situation:
You need us to move boxes, bins and furniture.
Includes:
Two movers and a truck.
Rate:
$70.00 per hour (Monday thru Sunday)
3. Full Service:
Advantage:
Other moving companies typically charge $85 to $100 per hour plus any additional or hidden fees that they forget to mention until they are half way through your move. We don't believe in using sneaky or misleading sales tactics like other moving companies do. As you can already tell we offer a straightforward service at a straightforward price.
Situation:
You need a service to move everything but you still need it to be affordable. We make sure you are getting a better deal when you use our services. You need us to move it all: boxes, bins, furniture, appliances, grills, lawn furniture, pictures and whatever else you may have.
Includes:
Two movers and a truck.
Rate:
$75.00 per hour (Monday thru Thursday)
$78.00 per hour (Friday thru Sunday)
4. Time Packages
Advantage:
You may already have a good idea of how long your move is going to last or you simply need our services for a set amount of time to meet certain needs of your upcoming move. There is no penalty for going over or under your time. If you need less time then you get charged for less time and if you need more time then we will charge the hourly rate that matches your service type.
Situation:
You need some kind of service that we provide so we have listed our services by type, time and price for your convenience. If you have any questions feel free to give us a call.

Two movers and a truck.
Package A: Two movers and a truck for 4 hours.
$ 260.00 (Furniture Only)
$ 280.00 (Furniture+Boxes)
$ 300.00 (Full Service Move)
Package B: Two movers and a truck for 5 hours.
$ 325.00 (Furniture Only)
$ 350.00 (Furniture+Boxes)
$ 375.00 (Full Service Move)
Package C: Two movers and a truck for 6 hours.
$ 390.00 (Furniture Only)
$ 420.00 (Furniture+Boxes)
$ 450.00 (Full Service Move)
5. Moving Labor(no truck)(3 hour minimum)
Situation:
You have a rental truck, pod and/or a storage unit but you still need movers to come help you move.
Good for:
Just about anything.
Includes:
Two movers who know what they are doing and are ready to come help move, pack and/or arrange your items safely and efficiently.
Rate:
$55.00 per hour
6. Long Distance Services
Situation:
You need some type of long distance moving service. We do offer several types of long distance and/or state-to-state services such as:
